CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Well experiericed Montessori trained teachers, specialised in the field are employed. They keep a proper record of mental, moral and physical progress of the child. Our Curriculum is mainly based on the policy to understand the child and unfold his/ her capabilities.Some of the subjects develop the children’s mental power.

Others develop their moral and artisti capabilities. Modern play-way method of teaching is adopted with the help of Audio-visual equipments charts, maps and educational ,toys. Special emphasis is given on Spoken English with the help of small class. An International approach is adopted between the teachers,parents, children in order to lead to better understanding.

School Rules and Regulations for Students:

Classroom Companion

  • Every student must carry their Classroom Companion to school daily.
  • Students should affix their photograph and write the required information duly signed by a parent in the space provided in the Classroom Companion.

Punctuality

  • Students who come to school on their own should reach school before the start of Morning Assembly.
  • The warning bell before a class or assembly is a signal for all to go to the assembly or to their respective classrooms. This should be done promptly and in silence.
  • Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in an orderly manner and silently.
  • Students should not leave their classes at the end of every period.

Uniform and Appearance

  • Students should be habitually clean and always be neatly dressed.
  • The school uniform should be worn on all working days and on all school functions.
  • All boys (except Sikhs) must keep their hair short.
  • Girls must tie their hair neatly with a green/black band.
  • Students are not allowed to bring mobiles, iPods, and cameras to school. Any child carrying these items will be fined an amount of Rs. 5000/- and their parents/guardians will be required to meet the Principal within a week. The fine will multiply on successive occasions.

Care of School Property

  • Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs, damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls, or in any way damage things belonging to others.
  • Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the Class Teacher, Headmistress, Vice-Principal, and Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the concerned student(s) together with a fine imposed for such offense.
  • Anyone who notices something damaged should report the matter even if they do not know who has done it.

Other Rules

  • No books (other than textbooks, geometry box, or library and laboratory books), magazines, papers, or CDs will be brought to the School without the Principal’s prior permission.
  • Lending or borrowing money or other articles is not permitted.
  • Parents and Guardians may meet the teachers during the specified time (with prior appointment).

  • Inculcate spiritual and moral values.
  • Develop aesthetic appreciation in totality to tap a child’s potential.
